When we started planning the Olympics in December 2019, we had no idea that it would copy the quarantine time.
And that the main disciplines for Sue Ryder's clients will be the struggle with loneliness, masks and worries about their loved ones. The Spring Games ended on May 25. On this day, Sue Ryder reopened and our athletes, clients of a home for the elderly, were visited by their biggest fans after 77 days. Daughters, sons and closest friends…

But the match is not over yet. Enemy no. 19 is still here and we are learning to live with him.
There is also a need not to be alone in old age.
Thank you for staying with us...

„To act as a functional family and retain the feeling that the Sue Ryder clients are home and safe. And to try to help other elderly people as well. That remains our task in coming days!“

„My generation experienced terrible things. One can overcome them best when one is patient, humble and grateful. And when one doesn’t allow the happiness from the small things life brings to be taken away!“
