When the doors of the Sue Ryder nursing home open and a cat strolls in, the whole room seems to light up. Laughter, gentle strokes, long-forgotten memories… That’s how furry joy is born — professionally known as feline therapy. Two Siberian beauties, Benjamin and Flynn — therapy cats belonging to our colleague Radka Kulhánková — now visit Sue Ryder regularly. And because one can never have too many helpful paws, a new recruit joined them this summer: Dobby. He’s a Ragdoll — soft, beautiful, and supposedly calm. But at the moment he’s going through full-blown adolescence, which means that one day he purrs like an angel, and the next he’s hanging from the chandelier with little devils dancing in his eyes. He belongs to Lenka Kepková, our activation coordinator, who is now bravely coordinating not only seniors, but also feline hormones. Have a look.
